Testimonials
Many of us find it difficult to communicate on the matters that we are dealing with. For one, we need to admit to ourselves that we need help before venturing out to seek it.
I am truly grateful for having been referred to Amanda, who made our virtual sessions easy and comfortable. I didn't feel like I was talking to a stranger. Instead, I felt I was opening my heart up to a long-time friend who I haven't spoken to in ages. She could understand me in so many ways. She listened carefully without judgement and helped me find answers as we worked through each layer.
With progress, I felt lighter, clear minded and happier. I always recall our sessions as a reminder of my strength and progress in overcoming my difficulties.

The work that Amanda did with two family members during individual sessions changed their thoughts and behaviour from sad and disconnected to trusting and wanting to explore the world. Amanda’s kindness, humour and empathy was constantly present throughout the sessions. Our family members felt very safe and at the same time gained knowledge and skills to understand their challenges and hurt. It was so exciting to see these lifelong changes occur.
The difference we all observed in both of them is quite profound.

I contacted Amanda after the trauma from my childhood was interfering with my day to day life and relationships - I wanted to better understand and be able to cope with my emotions so I could form deeper connections with people. I had tried counselling before but never returned after the first session as I never felt comfortable enough to. I have been seeing Amanda weekly for a few months now, and I feel I have grown a lot in my emotional maturity over this time. I know I still have a lot of work to do but I feel safe and comfortable talking to Amanda, and I know I will be ok one day. Amanda is very relatable, understanding, non-judgemental, has a great sense of humour and shows a great deal of care for her patients. She has laughed with me, cried with me and followed up with me to ensure I am ok following tough sessions. I feel very lucky to have found and be working with Amanda.

Amanda provided a non judgmental and safe space to discuss my concerns and provided excellent feedback to the issues I raised during our sessions with follow ups and literature after our sessions were completed.

Amanda has been instrumental for me in my journey to quit drinking. I went to see Amanda because I knew I had a problem that was affecting my life and family, but I didn’t think it was possible to quit, and deep-down I think I didn’t want to quit. So, I looked for help, someone to talk to at the very least. Amanda was very understanding, I immediately felt at ease and I could open up about things I kept close and hidden. This is because I felt there was no judgement from Amanda; she has seen it all before and she genuinely understands. She gave me support and some handy tools to continue. Amanda is calm, relaxed and curiously familiar, I enjoy my chats with Amanda, even if they require some challenging introspection.

Amanda is a personable and professional psychologist. She tailored our sessions to meet my needs. With her support, I have been able to deepen my knowledge of myself and overcome depression, anxiety, and develop relationships in general. Cannot recommend enough!

I feel very lucky to have met Amanda; she has helped me work through some of my worst days. I would describe Amanda as a strong, empathic, intelligent woman, who immediately allowed me to feel safe and supported in her presence. Although therapy can be confronting at times, every session with Amanda has been a place of solace and growth for me.
Thanks for everything Amanda.

I have been to counselling before following a traumatic event in my life, however felt like my personal trauma was being dismissed by that counsellor. I eventually reached out to Amanda and she made me feel comfortable to open up and discuss what I was going through in a safe environment. I can personally see the growth I have been able to demonstrate from seeing Amanda over the course of the year and she has helped me to develop into my own person. I highly recommend Amanda to anyone seeking a safe and non judgemental space.

Amanda has helped to navigate me through so tough internal struggles and learn a lot more about myself in the process.
She is very dedicated to her work and the post-session follow up material that she shares is an added bonus.
